Emergency Care
If you have a dental emergency, please call the practice closest to you immediately to arrange an appointment. We aim to get all patients out of pain as soon as possible and will discuss all of the relevant options with you.
What is classed as a dental emergency? Facial swelling, uncontrolled bleeding, and/or severe toothache – we will aim to see you on the same day as you call. Mild toothache, and/or lost fillings – we will always aim to see you as soon as possible, but depending on diary availability this may be a few days or weeks. Broken teeth that are causing no pain are not classed as an emergency on the NHS, so you may be asked to wait until your next examination appointment is due. For private patients, please call your local practice and they can help you.
If the practice is closed, please leave a voicemail and we will call you back as soon as possible. If you are not registered with us, we can offer you an emergency appointment on a private basis, or you can dial NHS 111 for their advice.
